The Lodge was consecrated in 1973 and meets at “Freemasons’ Hall”, Knole Road, Bournemouth, in the Masonic Province of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Over the years, several of our members have joined from London, the English Provinces and from Grand Lodges of Scotland and Ireland, including some from abroad. Many joiners have progressed to the Chair for a second time.

The Lodge meets eight times a year on the third Fridays of January, March, May, September and November, the fourth Wednesdays in April, June and the second Wednesday in October, usually at 6.00 pm. The Master is installed in January. Afterwards we dine at the Hall.

Freemasons’ Hall” is an elegant Victorian town-house tastefully converted to provide two Lodge Rooms, Committee Rooms and Dining Rooms. Many Lodges, Chapters and other Degrees use the building for their meetings and social functions. Knole Road is a turning off Christchurch Road about five minutes drive from central Bournemouth. There is ample parking.

The Lodge Rooms and other meeting rooms are on the first floor of the building. The larger Lodge Room is handsomely furnished with Lodges’ banners permanently displayed around the walls.

The two Dining and Robing Rooms are on the ground floor and the attractive licensed Club Room and Lounge on the lower-ground floor has been recently renovated. There is a lift to upper floors. Another feature of the building is the Masonic Museum, shop and library.

Our Lodge is well noted for the enthusiasm of its members and hospitality offered to its visitors.
